Hi,
Just wanted to say thanks! I have been wanting Cod War models for a long time! I found the Shapeways site via another product and was scrolling through thinking this would be perfect for Cod War models, and then on the next page there they are.
I’m definately ordering the sets!
Here’s and idea for the start of another set that uses models you already have that may need some adapting:
Lloydsman adapts to Statesman
Star Polaris adapts to Star Sirius
Stern trawler adapts to Southella
Add 3 trawlers and you have another set.
For other ideas a Leander class frigate as there were 9 of those involved and Type 12 as there were 6 of those; a print with 3 Leander and 2 Type 12′s….
Some of the RFA ships would be great, their support and tugs!
Thanks,
John
Hi John,
Lots of possibilities 🙂
Could probably do with another tug as Lloydsman is a bit bigger than statesman and euroman, the frigates would be nice too.
I’m having a bit of a break from ships at the moment as those sets took quite a lot of effort to get finished and approved for printing.
Shapeways still reject them sometimes – it’s a bit variable as they farm out some of the printing work to other companies.
Cheers,
Paul
